Unguarded Moments: Backstage and Beyond

Theresa Kereakes's acclaimed traveling photo exhibit, UNGUARDED MOMENTS: Backstage and Beyond - Photos from the Golden Age of Punk Rock is one of the subsets in her 3-year worldwide traveling exhibitions, REtroSPECT.

In 2009, several of the images from her archive were selected by Christie's Auction House to be part of their Pop Culture Auction (June 2009), validating not just Los Angeles punk rock, but Kereakes's own place in pop culture history.
